A Hand Up Charitable Fund

We are a group of likeminded people who have joined together in a commitment to our community. We believe that by combining our financial resources we are best able to magnify and maximize the impact of our giving. We all bring a strong desire to assist Atlanta-based non-profit organizations fulfill their missions. Our contributions are not limited to any one group or area of concern. It makes no difference to us if the organization assists young or old, male or female, black or white. We aid groups targeting homelessness, health care, hunger, education, etc.




Atlanta Memorial Fund of Eternal Life-Hemshech Inc.

The fund was established by Atlanta Holocaust Survivors in 1985 on the 40th anniversary of the allied victory over Nazi Germany and the liberation of the concentration and death camps. The purpose of this fund is to perpetuate the memory of the Six Million who perished, to commemorate this tragic event in Jewish & world history. We award scholarships to students and teachers who exhibit an interest in Holocaust study, to support cultural and educational events whose themes include the Holocaust and to help maintain The Memorial to The Six Million at Greenwood cemetery and support the annual community Yom Hashoah event.




Jared Zane Israel Memorial Fund

This memorial fund was established to honor the life of Jared Zane Israel. Contributions made to this fund are used to financially support children so they may attend a Jewish Camp.




Jewish Community Education Fund JCP High School Tuition Grant

The Jewish Community Professionals High School Tuition Fund is a collaborative effort created by local philanthropists and housed at the Atlanta Jewish Foundation. The fund provides children of eligible full-time Jewish non-profit professionals in Atlanta with a grant for up to 50% reduced tuition to local, SACS or SAIS accredited Jewish high schools (Atlanta Jewish Academy, The Weber School, and Temima, The Richard & Jean Katz High School for Girls).




Jewish Women's Fund of Atlanta

Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta promotes social change and creates positive opportunities for Jewish women and girls. Through our work, we support, elevate, and advance women. We are a force for change, addressing gender inequality in the Jewish community. We harness the power of philanthropy, collective wisdom, and women’s voices to advocate for mental health and equity while fighting against economic injustice, violence against women, and gender-based harassment and discrimination in workplaces. Karen Botnick Paz Jewish Abilities FUND

Karen Botnick Paz, a long time Jewish professional, dedicated herself to the Jewish community, creating programs and providing resources to help families navigate the challenges of living with a disability.  Karen's passion for this special group became her lifelong focus. The Karen Botnick Paz Jewish Abilities Fund Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta's Jewish Abilities initiative that reflect Karen's to provide a welcoming and accessible foster collaboration and planning around disability inclusion; and increase the capacity of Jewish Atlanta agencies in creating a community where people with differing abilities are engaged and supported.




The Adam Scott Cadranel Fund for Social, Racial and Gender Equality

The Fund’s mission is to further Adam’s ideals for a more caring, inclusive, and uplifting society by supporting programs that benefit marginalized communities, advance dignity and equality for all, and promote LGBTQ+ education, assistance and wellness.  All are invited to share their support and compassion at: https://atlantajewishfoundation.org/adamcadranel/




The Naomi Rabkin Retreat Restricted Fund

Naomi Rabkin inspired us to think boldly and helped attract those doing the most cutting edge and interesting things in the Jewish world. In her memory, The Naomi Rabkin Retreat Fund supports expenses related to a presenter for Limmud Atl+SE who will be chosen based on Naomi's passions in food justice, local farm to table eating, community building, music, reimagining ritual, Israel, women in leadership and immersive Jewish education.




The Staci Michelle Robbins Foundation

Staci lived her life with a desire to teach, educate and provide for the less fortunate. Her Foundation was established to continue her passion to support children, families in need and cancer causes, including those of all races, religions and backgrounds.




The Sylvia Newman Memorial Fund

Two Teachers of the Year cash awards are provided to after school religious school instructors: one award for veteran teachers, the other for newer ones. They are recommended primarily by their local synagogues and temples.




The Young Philanthropy Fellows Fund

Young Philanthropy Fellows is a small cohort learning experience for teens aged 13-15 focused on philanthropic giving and community engagement. This program will provide teens with practical skills to put strategic grantmaking practices into action. Teens will learn about systemic issues of justice as well as immediate charitable needs in the community through hands-on experiences with non-profit organizations that will inform the group’s ultimate giving decision.
