Jaclyn was coined Jackie BOOM by legendary drummer Steve Jordan during a Bettye LaVette session due to her energetic & present demeanor. This alias captures the essence of Jaclyn’s ability to blend analog with a pop sound for a sonic experience that knocks like a hit record. 

She has worked with music icons including Lauryn Hill, Anderson Paak, Robert Glasper & Common. Her credits include Grammy win for Album of the Year with Jon Batiste, Grammy nomination for her work with HER and a Latin Grammy win with Cultura Profetica

In addition to her work as one of the top sound engineers in the music industry, Jaclyn is an advocate for strengthening community & authentic sharing of personal & professional experiences to help provoke change in the entertainment industry. She has spoken & taught for organizations like the Audio Engineering Society, Nola MusicCon, Woodshed Network, WAMCon & Berklee College of Music

Jaclyn currently serves as a member of the Recording Academy’s Producer & Engineers Wing Committee (LA Chapter).
