The Children’s Mercy Research Institute (CMRI) integrates research and clinical care with multidisciplinary teams at the point of care while bringing together nationally recognized expertise in genomic medicine, precision therapeutics, population health and health care innovation. Whether you are interested in lab research, big data, clinical research, population health or another research, we may have a place for you. By applying through this portal, your information can be accessed by faculty looking for just the right student to help them impact the health and wellbeing of children.

 

Overview

The Learner Inquiry Form allows students to create an learner profile that is available to researchers at the Children's Mercy Research Institute.

 

This is not an official application. Your profile will be sorted based on the area(s) of interest that you identify on the form and made available to CMRI investigators in basic, clinical and translational research programs. Investigators will determine the availability/need for interns in their research groups.

Expectations

- Maintain confidentiality
- Be a good steward of CM data and resources
- Adhere to COI, Research Administration, and CM written policies
- Complete Research Based training
- Meet all hospital vaccination requirements

Remote Work/Work from Home

Learner opportunities are primarily located in the Kansas City area but remote opportunites may be explored.
