A broad coalition of health care stakeholders is cheering bipartisan legislation reintroduced this week that would codify and expand upon IRS’ 2019 guidance allowing high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) linked to health savings accounts (HSAs) to cover certain chronic care treatments and services prior to the deductible.
