For those of you who have the 588 Omni VII, the 599 Eagle, or 539 Argonaut VI, please understand the Tentec Update Utility DOES NOT configure the radio automatically to receive Firmware updates. There
For those of you who have the 588 Omni VII, the 599 Eagle, or 539 Argonaut VI, please understand the Tentec Update Utility DOES NOT configure the radio automatically to receive Firmware updates. There instructions in the manual for each of the radios that describes how to specifically configure the radio to receive a Firmware update. Once this is done, then run the Update Utility with the desired version .RUF file to update the radio. [ .RUF is Radio Update File ] To my knowledge, the Update Utility and latest released Firmware along with instructions, does reside in the FILES section of the respective radio on the Groups.IO site. 73 Bob, K4TAX General flunky and formerly radio fixer -- 73 Bob, K4TAX Owner/moderator

Folks, when I purchased my 539 it included a 418 amp. I'm mostly QRP so the amp just sits in a box. It is excellent condition with a minor scratch or two on the sides but perfect front, back and top.
