SEATTLE - Seattle U track and field looks forward to hosting the 2022 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Husky Track from May 12-14. This year's event will mark Seattle U's first time hosting the WAC Track & Field Championship in school history.
"This weekend is a big deal for Seattle U," said Head Coach
Kelly Sullivan. "The WAC is one of track and field's best and oldest sustained conferences in the country and possesses one of the greatest legacies. Any first is never done again and I'm very proud to bring this championship to Seattle for the first time. The majority of student athletes and coaches from the conference's new additions haven't ever had the chance to come to Seattle and we are all excited to host them for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Our alums, former coaches and current team are thrilled to have the opportunity to host such a great event."
