Variety/Talent Show Rules & Consent Form
1. A variety of Acts are encouraged — singing, playing a musical instrument, dancing, martial arts, performing in a skit, doing magic tricks, performing stand-up comedy, juggling, or any other unique talent!

2. All performers must be Adobe Bluffs students. An exception is allowed for one adult performing an accompanying role (e.g. playing piano for a vocal act).

3. Each Act must be 2 Minutes or Less.

4. Students May Perform In Two Different Acts, Maximum. Only one Act may be a Solo. Based on overall length of show, students may be asked to only perform one Act.

5. All lyrics must be appropriate in every way. A “clean” version of a song with explicit lyrics is not acceptable.

6. All outfits/costumes must comply with Poway Unified dress code requirements (http://www.powayusd.com/pusdbmms/dressCode.htm).

7. Acts must be fully prepared by the first rehearsal – All words memorized, choreography completed, etc.

8. Accompaniments may be live or pre-recorded. You must provide your own accompanists.  Email music in an MP3 file to abtalentshow@gmail.com ON or BEFORE February 23rd.

9. An email will be sent to the contact email provided confirming the receipt of all auditions. If we have any questions or concerns regarding the act, we will reach out to the adult responsible for the act.

10. After we have received all auditions, each Act will be assigned an advisor (“act manager”). Each Act must check-in with their advisor at each rehearsal. Failure to check-in by call time, at any point in the show preparation, can result in the Act being dropped.
