SciPol Spotlight: Nancy Holt & Sci4NY Webinar
Science Policy and Advocacy at Rutgers (SPAR) will be hosting a webinar with Nancy Holt for our second SciPol Spotlight event Thursday 2/27 at 2:00 PM in the Graduate Student Association (GSA) Lounge. SciPol Spotlight highlights scientists  building relationships between the scientific community, the public and policymakers.

Nancy Holt is the co-founder of Sci4NY, an initiative to bring together scientists and NYC government officials on projects that will benefit both groups and the City. She also works with the STEM Cell, an organization providing underserved NYC communities with opportunities in science, technology, math and engineering.In addition, she is working with comedian Chuck Nice on increasing advocacy surrounding climate change through nontraditional methods including sketch comedy, music and short films.
