With much of the country facing extreme heat, drought, and wildfires, and the latest obstruction of climate policies in Congress, now is the time to push President Biden to be the climate president using his full executive authority. Biden has said himself that he's considering declare a climate emergency.

*Join a national day of action on August 2nd to demand that Biden declare a climate emergency and reject fossil fuels!* Actions can be big or small: the important thing is that we do them together and direct our demands at President Biden. We'll provide advice and support to help make your event a success. If you want to host an action but can't do it on August 2nd, aim for another day that week!

Since his first day in office, the People vs. Fossil Fuels coalition has been calling for the President to take strong executive action to declare a climate emergency and stop approving fossil fuel leases, projects and exports. Now we have a window of opportunity to win some of these key demands -- let's make the most of it!
