QCC Sankofa Celebration

Dear QCC Graduate,

Congratulations! We extend our sincerest well-wishes to you as you close one chapter of your academic journey.

Also, we cordially invite you to QCC's 2nd Annual Sankofa Celebration. The term Sankofa originates in the Akan tribe of Ghana. It is a word, a symbol, and a way of life steeped in reverence for the past and the future. Sankofa reminds us to look back, as we need to know our history so that we can look forward, to understand, and chart our paths going into the future. Our celebration intends to honor our ancestry, revel in our achievements, and to build legacies. The celebration will occur on Tuesday, May 28th, from 12:10 pm - 2:10 pm at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC). The event is made possible by the generous support of The QCC Incubator, The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA), the Student Government Association (SGA), and the Black Student Union (BSU), who are co-sponsors of the event.

Please use this form to RSVP by Monday, May 13th, at 12 pm.   Please send any question or concerns to sankofa@qcc.cuny.edu

We look forward to celebrating YOU!
