In an effort to prepare seniors for Career and College Readiness, all seniors are strongly encouraged to complete the following tasks: (a) Apply to 4 colleges/universities through Apply Texas, (b)Register and take the SAT/ACT before the end of 2022-2023 school year.

A senior who is assigned to a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) or Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) at any time during the 2022-2023 school year will not be allowed to participate in any senior events.

A senior who receives 2 Level II or higher referrals or is suspended for 2 separate offenses will not be allowed to participate in any senior events.

As a Skyline High School student, I will be mindful of the posts I make to social media. I am aware that any social media posts that are inflammatory, slanderous, liable, or derogatory will be sited and result in the loss of Senior activities.

I am aware that if I receive more than 1 demerit, and I am removed from any Senior activities, I will not receive a refund for the activities I am removed from due to disciplinary actions.

A senior who has not passed all sections of the STAAR tests, must attend STAAR tutoring (virtually or face to face).

A senior who passes any class in any semester but does not meet the state requirement of 90% attendance in that class will not be allowed to participate in any senior activities without an established Skyline Principal Plan outlining credit restoration guidelines for that class. Any student who does not complete the requirements of their Skyline Principal Plan prior to the established deadlines will not be allowed to participate in any Senior Activities unless a petition is approved by the Skyline Attendance Committee allowing for the completion of the plan beyond the stated deadline.

A senior who appears on the "NOT CLEAR" list for textbooks, lab fees, uniforms, dues, etc. will not be allowed to participate in any senior activities.

Students enrolled in Evening School and/or Reconnect to meet graduation requirements must receive permission from their counselor and the Principal (or Principal designee) to participate in senior activities.

Seniors who desires to bring an outside guest to the senior prom must complete one of the following: (a) If the guest is a high school student, he/she must have a signed letter from their principal stating that they are in good standing with their high school; (b) If the guest is not a high school student, he/she MUST be 20 years of age or younger and complete a background check in the main office. ALL FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Ms. Carpenter (or designee) in the principal's office.
