Practice advisory on continuances during Covid
Legal Services NYC created a practice advisory about seeking continuances in immigration court during Covid, which includes lessons we learned when we sued EOIR in the Southern District of NY in April 2020 about filing deadlines in non-detained cases.

We plan to make revised editions of the advisory as we get input from those who read it and as there are developments in the law and the facts.

Others who want a copy should also fill out this survey.  The primary authors of the first edition of the advisory are LSNYC immigration director Rex Chen, summer 2020 intern Catherine J. Perez, and summer 2020 intern Jessica YH Wang.
