Insects provide valuable ecosystem services of benefit to humans, including pest control and pollination. Declines in insect diversity due to habitat loss and climate change threaten these ecosystem services. The goal of my research program is to predict, and ultimately mitigate, these threats. Doing so requires a better understanding of the influence of environmental change on the insect distributions and the outcome of species interactions.

Mitigating the consequences of habitat loss for ecosystem services
