IDS announces lease renewals, expansions

The IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis has seen nearly 275,000 square feet of tenant renewals and expansions so far this year, according to Accesso Partners, the building’s Florida-based owner and manager.

Tenants expanding or renewing their leases include law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, wealth management firm Okabena Company and law practice Lathrop GPM, Accesso Partners said in a press release this week.

Building occupants who signed new lease agreements or renewals at the 1.42 million-square-foot, 57-story tower earlier this year include Hogan Lovells US LLP, MedTrace Pharma Inc., Littler Mendelson P.C. and Zamansky Professional Associates.

“As many companies embrace hybrid work schedules and solidify their long-term office plans, these lease expansions and renewals prove that the IDS Center remains an ideal option for a wide variety of tenants,” Deb Kolar, general manager of the IDS Center for Accesso, said in a statement. “The property’s prime location in downtown Minneapolis makes it convenient and accessible, while the newly renovated Crystal Court is an on-site amenity that offers something for everyone – whether they’re looking to grab a bite to eat, conduct a business meeting over coffee or just relax and gather with friends or colleagues.”

The renewals and expansions come at a time when the Class A office tower is celebrating its 50th anniversary. On Thursday, the IDS Center will host an anniversary celebration inside its Crystal Court, which was renovated last summer.
