09/23/2022 01:00 PM - 09/24/2022 04:00 PM CT

Description

The annual Wisconsin Campus Voting Summit will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 23-24, 2022. Friday (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) will be online, as we refresh our voter registration skills, make sure we use resources from Ask Every Student to leave no student behind, learn how to be pro-voter but non-partisan, learn from a panel of successful event planners, and use break-out rooms for conversations about how you can create and implement successful events.

Saturday (11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) we will be in-person at the Pyle Center, room 313, on UW-Madison’s campus where we will have a welcome from a special guest, play some Wisconsin democracy trivia, practice voter registration with real voters, learn about inspiring students on issues while staying non-partisan, have a conversation with a bi-partisan panel of elected officials, and makes plans for an Voting Early is Easier campaign - you will walk away with an actual plan you can implement on your campus.

The summit is open to all students, faculty, and staff of Wisconsin colleges and universities. All expenses will be covered, including transportation.
