Camera Registration Form

  •

In an effort to continue our public safety partnership with citizens and businesses, the Elmwood Park Police Department is offering a security camera registration program. The Elmwood Park Camera Registry Program (hereinafter the “Program”) allows residents and business owners to voluntarily register the locations of their video surveillance systems with the Elmwood Park Police Department. Such registry will allow the Police Department to identify the locations of nearby video cameras to obtain potential video surveillance, whenever a crime occurs. The Police Department may then ask Program participants to review their private video surveillance systems for a specific date and time for video that may show activity involved with a crime. If they so choose, participants in the Program can then voluntarily provide copies of such video footage to the Police Department, for investigative purposes.
