I enjoyed this story more especially as there's more background. Pereena is perfect for Bogdan and was much easier for me to relate to than Tribute Dawn was. I didn't get the Harry Potter references and found them ambiguous and weird though if you're a fan it'd be different. I just loved the twist towards the end although I certainly didn't see it coming.
On to book 3 now although I wish it was someone other than Arkdhem as I don't like how he's behaved but hopefully he will improve
Hopefully he'll improve once his Tribute arrived...

Alien Tribute was written well, with complex characters who had interesting arcs, the relationship dynamic was believable, the touch of world-building gave it flavour without losing focus on the romance part of sci-fi romance and the plot had an unexpected twist, although it was not thorough since this was a character heavy story. That said, this book wasn't for me. It was really good, but hard BDSM isn't my thing. If you do enjoy books with those themes then I would highly recommend this book for you.

This is book 2 in the Tsenturion Masters series and can easily be read standalone. Everything you need to know about the backstory is covered in this book so that you don't feel like you're only getting half the information. While I enjoyed book 1, I did struggle with it. I felt that there wasn't enough emotional connection between the characters. Well, this book doesn't suffer from that problem! On Earth, Pareena is dying. In space, Bogdan still mourns the loss of his home and those that he lost. He doesn't want to like Pareena, much less want her. Luckily for us though, this resolves in a wonderful way with a fantastic story.

Dr Pareena Singh is dying of cancer.The end is close.she enjoys reading paranormal adventures on her e reader.
She isn’t sure if she is dreaming or dead.She seems to be on an alien spaceship. The captain has a human mate,Dawn and Pareena is to be the mate of his second,Bogdan
As dreams would have it. It was good
Her torrid e reader stories are being used as manuals and she likes it .A lot.
Pareena still feels that this is part of an interactive drug induced dream
Slowly she begins to realise this is her new reality
She also sees a plus side Bogdan is amazing and her cancer is gone

I enjoyed this book! The idea of reading a smexy alien abduction book one minute, swiping right and waking up elsewhere the next is so damn good!! Who wouldn’t want to do that??! The characters are great and the storyline had a few twists that will keep you keen for the next book!

Book two of the series can be read as a standalone. That said, there are some spoilers in this book, and to book one and an overarching plot line to the series. Readers should be aware it is probably best read in order. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV and ends with a HEA..

Pareena has fought a long hard battle with cancer on Earth. When given the option to "swipe right for abduction" she has nothing to lose. Bogdan is the grumpy second in command of the Tsenturion fleet. He is growly and scowly, and certainly not interested in a mate. Pareena is perfect for Bogdan though. She has training that helps her see the pain inside the broody alien and work to help him move past it.

This book is so much deeper than you would think. The characters deal with elements of grief in all its stages. I appreciated the many steamy scenes, but what I loved even more was the tender relationship that forms between Pareena and Bogdan. I love how diligent he has been to make sure he has completed the training in preparation for his Tribute. I loved his possessive and protective nature. Pareena is incredibly brave. She rolls with everything that she experiences with a fearlessness of one who has been near death. She embraces life, even when it may only be a dream, and commits to living fully. There are some tense action moments in the story relating to the Vgotha aliens, moments of sadness, and moments of loving commitment. I am absolutely loving this series. The epilogue sets up the next book, and I can't wait to squeeze it into my schedule.

It wasn't as good as the first book. The female lead is supposed to be a psychologist doctor or something but she likes to keep herself in a constant state of delusion or to distract herself instead of thinking through things. Very disappointing.
The story overall is interesting tho, I was more interested in the outside story than the relationship which is not good, but it'll keep me reading.

This is the second in this series and oh boy it is certainly as good as the first one. Bogdan I was not sure I was going to like as he is moody and as a mate at first intro is a nightmare. The book has humour, spanking and hot sex, wow, read on is my motto. You just need to find a day as once you pick this up you will not want to put it down until finished. Another smash hit from this author.

Bogdan and Pareena’s story is the perfect mix of adventure and struggle to keep you guessing and their love journey is heartwarming & going to keep you hanging on! Couple technical difficulties with audio (already being fixed!) in chapters 12 & 13 but read those parts on my e-reader risking abdu€tion. ;}
