The relationship between Beck and Coco is one of immediate attraction; a palpable sexual hunger that ended with Coco’s disappearance the morning after. Six years would pass before out couple were reunited, five years of a little girl’s life that Beck would never have wanted to miss. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Coco and Beck’s daughter Posie; Coco’s parents, Tyler and Joss, her rock star sister Gigi, executive chef Lulu; as well as the Bowie brothers (Fin, Will, and Gray Bowie) who own and operate Owl Hoot Resort and Spa. The premise is emotional and imaginative ; the romance is spicy and flirty; the characters are inspiring and sassy.

I fell in love with this story. Can’t Help Falling in Love is the fifth book in the ‘Calamity Falls’ series by Erika Kelly. It’s a sweet, second chance romance with an adorable little girl who steals the heart of everyone she meets. Coco Cavanaugh met Becks O’Neill in Vegas six years ago. They had a fantastic one night stand and her young daughter is the result. Becks never knew anything about the little girl as they never exchanged names or numbers. Coco has trust issues, and she’s not alone. Beckett does too, and he’s in a relationship. Finding out he’s a father is a shock to say the least. But, that chemistry they shared six years ago hasn’t died and the more time they spend together the stronger the attraction gets. Can they make a go of it for real? This was quite an engrossing story and I was soon caught up in it all. Beckett was a dreamy, hot guy and Coco, the strong independent woman he needed all along. They were just perfect together. Add in charming, precocious Posey and it’s just simply icing on the cake.
