2024 International Peacemaker Dates: Fri Sept 13 - Mon Oct 7
As we move into our fifth decade of hosting International Peacemakers, the Peacemaking Program is pleased to announce a robust roster for 2024. This year our roster has expanded to include 2 domestic peacemakers, inspired by the 2023 Travel Study Seminars. We are thrilled to welcome peacemakers from the Navajo Nation and Puerto Rico.
The Presbyterian Peacemaking Program invites leaders from our global and domestic partners to serve as peacemakers and to share their stories and experience with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Hosting a peacemaker broadens our sense of God’s inclusive family, strengthens community among congregations, universities, and civic groups, and ignites creativity in our pursuits for peace and justice. Their visits equip and connect Presbyterians in transforming cultures of violence into communities of peace. The itineration of peacemakers is intended to enhance the ministry of PC(USA) mid councils, colleges, seminaries and institutions.
