The
Teen Summit RVA is a high school leadership summit allowing high school students from Henrico, Chesterfield and Richmond to have their voices heard through diverse experiences on topics ranging from gun safety and violence, mental health and wellness, equity and gender identity.
The Summit will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center from 9:30 - 4:30 on Saturday, March 18 and transportation will be provided by HCPS. The Summit is free to student attendees.
Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive experiences on topics such as Mental Health, Culture (personal and social), the Definition and Nature of Violence, Gun Violence in School and Community, Speak Your Truth, Arts and its Social Impact, Music Therapy as a Tool for Healing, Where to Find Healthy Personal and Community support, Mental and Personal Healing and much more.
Approximately 200 Henrico County students may attend. By completing the form below, you are indicating your strong interest in participating, but are not guaranteed a spot until you receive a confirmation email from HCPS. At that point you will need to complete a field trip participation form and will receive directions for registering for sessions at the Summit.
