Scott Davis was a 2007 graduate of Mater Dei High School. While at Mater Dei, Scott and his older brother Eric were very involved in the Wrestling program. In his senior year, Scott was Champion and 2nd place in CIF. After graduation, he came back during spring break and helped coach the wrestling team. In 2008, Scott died of a head injury from a tragic skateboarding accident.

In memory of Scott, the Davis family established a Scholarship Fund awarded to graduating students with similar interests of Scott. Currently, the scholarship is awarded to students in Wrestling and Theatre Arts.
