Casa Romero is looking for creative, outgoing high school-age mentors to serve as Arts Camp Interns during the summer of 2021. Applicants should enjoy working with elementary and middle-school children and feel comfortable engaging in both visual arts and music, which will serve as the entry-points for self-expression and personal empowerment. Interns will assist in the preparation and planning of camp programming and will include a lot of hands-on work with students (4th - 8th grade) during the 5 weeks of summer camp teaching art projects and giving music lessons (in both English and Spanish); applicants' background in art and music, along with bilingual capacity will be strongly considered.


Age requirement: Applicants must be 15 years of age or older

Type of work: Hybrid (in-person and virtual work)

Start/end dates: June 7 – August 27, 2021
