Describe your passion for dance, choreography, and performance. Why do you want to join Fusion Dance Company? *
Previous dance experience and training is not required to join Fusion; However, if you have previously danced at Franklin HS or a local dance studio, please indicate the classes you've taken and/or the studio and teacher you've trained with. This also includes FrHS and Toby dance clubs, martial arts, cheer, and other sports.
Choose Three words that best describe your personality and explain why? *
Fusion requires a large academic committment. Dancers are enrolled in 20 credits (6th period block for the entire school year). Do you have enough room in your schedule next year for 20 credits? If so, what electives would you like to drop for the Fusion classes (check Student Vue). If you are not sure or have questions, please include them in your response. *
Fusion requires a large after-school committment. Dancers practice every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after-school from 3:15-5:30pm. In most cases, dancers are unable to participate in other dance clubs, sports, and activities. Are you able to consistently attend practice from 3:15-5:30pm? If not, please explain why. *
Fusion requires a large financial committment. Dancers purchase their dance uniforms and shoes. They also participate in company fundraisers for costumes, guest artists, and dance room supplies. The typical cost for dance uniforms & shoes for a new company member is approx. $300. Are you and your family able to committ to the financial committment to puchase uniforms and shoes for next year's team? (Please note: there are payment options available as needed). *
