Emerging Fairer & Stronger from COVID-19: Health System Imperatives


November 30, 11:30am ET


Emerging Stronger presents the findings from detailed assessments conducted by leaders of 9 health system sectors on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their sectors. A special concluding chapter identified opportunities for system-wide health transformation imperatives related to common challenges across the sectors.

Funding Opportunities

Global Health Seed Grants


Faculty throughout Rutgers are invited to submit proposals for Global Health Seed Grants. Global Health Seed Grants are administered jointly by Rutgers Global Health Institute and Rutgers Global. The online application, full instructions, and specific guidelines for submitting a Global Health Seed Grant proposal are available on the Rutgers Global Grants website.

Application deadline is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30.

Community Resources

Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Department of Pediatrics has a website with multilingual resources about COVID-19 vaccines for children and young adults. Resources are available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, Hindi, and Korean, the top six languages spoken in New Jersey.


New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub: The State of New Jersey has put together a list of resources about the COVID-19 virus including testing sites, signs and symptoms, and FAQs about social services. 


You can find community-based and local COVID-19 testing site locations and hours here.


Middlesex County residents can register for a free COVID-19 test at sites throughout the county. Appointments required. The sites provide saliva-based test kits developed at Rutgers University.


Visit New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccine Registration site to pre-register for the vaccine. New Jersey's Covid-19 Vaccine Appointment Call Center can be reached at 855-568-0545.
