Women's History Month

The NIH U.S. National Library of Medicine is celebrating America's Women Physicians. This exhibition honors the lives and achievements of women in medicine. Before women could build careers as physicians, they had to fight even to be allowed to attend medical school.

Global Health Seed Grants

Rutgers Global Health Institute awards Global Health Seed Grants to faculty conducting collaborative, interdisciplinary activities that address health inequities in New Jersey and around the world. With these grants, the institute aims to help faculty pursue new ideas and seed expanded research and funding. The deadline is March 19.

Medical Justice in Advocacy Fellowship

Call for applications!

The inaugural Medical Justice in Advocacy Fellowship is a collaborative educational initiative to empower physician-led advocacy that advances equity and removes barriers to optimal health for marginalized people and communities. Deadline is March 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Stipend and CME credits available.

Community Conversations: NJ COVID-19 Storytelling Project organizations and residents are encouraged to submit stories of hope about their experiences over the past year. Stories will be collected through March 31. Learn More

Funding Opportunities
NJ Council for the Humanities: Incubation and Action Grants

Incubation and Action Grants fund the development of meaningful humanities projects in New Jersey. The most competitive projects demonstrate an awareness of the needs and interests of your audience and offer an opportunity for community members to explore history, culture, values, and beliefs. Letters of Intent are due March 1-15th and the
application deadline is April 15th. Learn more about the fund here.
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Health Policy Research Scholars is a four-year national leadership development program for full-time doctoral students, motivated to improve health, well-being, and equity, from nonclinical, research-focused disciplines - who see policy as a key lever for change and are committed to ensuring their research is aligned with the health needs of communities. New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub: The State of New Jersey has put together a list of resources about the COVID-19 virus including testing sites, signs and symptoms and FAQs about social services. 

Visit New Jersey’s COVID-19 Vaccine Registration site to pre-register for the vaccine. New Jersey's COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Call Center can be reached at 855-568-0545.

Middlesex County residents can register for a free COVID-19 test at sites throughout the county. Appointments required. The sites provide saliva-based test kits developed at Rutgers University.
