External Review InstructionsThe current drafts of the Environmental Data Management (EDM) Best Practices Fact Sheets and other supporting documents are now available for External Review. All comments received on or before close of business on Friday, July 1, 2022 will be reviewed and considered for inclusion during final revisions of these work products. Note that the team leaders and subgroups will attempt to accommodate external review comments received after July 1st during preparation of revised drafts for the technical editor, but we cannot guarantee the degree to which late comments are considered.Document Intent/GoalThe fact sheets and other documents prepared by this team are tailored to the needs of state regulatory program personnel who are tasked with making informed and timely decisions regarding EDM. The content is also intended to be useful to consultants and parties responsible for implementing environmental data management systems (EDMS) and otherwise interfacing with regulatory agencies regarding environmental data. These documents should also be helpful to public and tribal stakeholders that have their own needs to manage and use environmental data. The fact sheets are designed to provide the key information at a high level for each of the topics.
