Kanye West no longer working with Johnny Depp lawyer, dumped by CAA

Kanye West is no longer working with Johnny Depp’s famed trial attorney Camille Vasquez after he doubled down and refused to walk back his slew of anti-Semitic remarks.

Just days after being hired by the embattled rapper, the Los Angeles-based attorney told her firm, Brown Rudnick, that she wasn’t going to work with him anymore after he continued to spew anti-Semitic rhetoric over the weekend, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told The Post on Monday.

Brown Rudnick, which initially tried keep West on as a client, was then fired after asking him to publicly apologize for his remarks, according to the source.

“After Ye doubled down this weekend, Camille dropped him. The firm still wanted to make it work but on the condition he retract, he wouldn’t — so he fired them,” the source said.

West, 45, stirred up controversy on Oct. 9 when he tweeted that he was going to “go death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE” — making an erroneous reference to the military term “defcon.”

The split between West and Vasquez, which was first reported by TMZ, came just days after it emerged that the rapper had snapped up the famed law firm to help oversee his business deals and contracts.

Vasquez, who specializes in litigation and arbitration, rose to fame while representing Depp in his bombshell case against his ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year.

Meanwhile, it also emerged Monday that CAA, a Hollywood talent agency, had cut ties with the “Gold Digger” singer earlier this month amid the fallout over his controversial remarks, the LA Times reported on Monday.

A string of high-profile brands — including Balenciaga and Vogue — have also severed their relationships with the rapper-turned-designer in recent weeks.

Still, West has repeatedly stood by his remarks, telling The Post columnist Piers Morgan just last week that he had no regrets.

“No. Absolutely not,” West said when asked if he was remorseful for the remarks.

The father of four was adamant that he wouldn’t be canceled as a result, telling TMZ over the weekend that businesses were only cutting ties with him to “score points.”

“We here, baby, we ain’t going nowhere,” he insisted.

“I ain’t losing no money,” he added. “The day I was taken off the Balenciaga site, that was one of the most freeing days.”

Meanwhile, West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, broke her silence on Monday, saying hate speech is “never OK or excusable.”

“I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Her sisters Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and her mom, Kris Jenner, shared similar statements on social media.
