First incorporated in 1873, the City of Pine River is located in central Minnesota. This proximity enhances an appealing draw for business opportunities, expansion and development and is apparent by the growth of new retail and manufacturing companies in our area.
The City's concept of 'Progress and Promise' is reflected in its Revolving Loan programs and an active working relationship with Cass County E.D.C.

The Pine River area boasts over 400 lakes within thirty miles. Vast tracts of county, state and federal land nearby provide great opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. The Pine River, which flows through the city, is a state designated canoe route.
