Ready to Run Minnesota
Ready to Run Minnesota is part of the Research in Action initiative in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas.
We are a national network partner of Ready to Run®, a nonpartisan campaign training program housed at the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers. Our mission is to change the face of leadership in the United States by helping to elect more women to public office and to encourage all of us to support the increased representation of women in politics.
Research shows that women make government more transparent, inclusive, and accessible. Women bring different priorities and experiences to politics, including perspectives that have been largely absent in public policymaking.
Ready to Run Minnesota is a nonpartisan campaign training program designed to encourage women to run for office, work on campaigns, or become leaders in their communities.
We are grateful for the support of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas, Pivotal Ventures (an investment and incubation company founded by Melinda French Gates), and the Center for American Women and Politics.
