The emotional intensity depicted throughout the first story in the Until You series pulled me into the lives of a couple, where unspoken dreams and long-held yearnings were creatively revealed. Corwin and Belle are truly wonderful individuals, each wanting to make the world a better place in their own way. Christa Wick had any issues in their lives being conveyed with realism, as they respond with true-to-life reactions backed by sincere feelings. Regardless of what was happening in a scene where this couple is featured, every moment in UNRAVELED is convincingly portrayed and definitely comes across as believable.

When Annabelle was in her middle teens, she started seeing Corwin as more than her best friend’s brother, as the Navy SEAL becomes the only man starring in her private fantasies. After an incident could greatly alter her future plans, he is determined to help her with this potentially life-changing problem. While Belle has never admitted to anyone how he feels about Corwin, their working together to overcome her dilemma might be the push that she needs.

Christa Wick is a new-to-me author, and I will certainly be getting more of her books because UNRAVELED is so well written. The main characters are likable plus their actions are very plausible. Belle’s insecurities are understandable, and the way in which Corwin comes to her aid is touchingly romantic. I would love to be the one whom he assisted in the same manner! His sister and her friend, Theresa, is so lively, and her devious schemes plus comments are delightfully amusing. Her book is next, a story that I am very eager to read.

Christa Wick has really composed a fine heroine finding love with her best friend's older brother in this story. Belle is a marine biologist but suffers from aqua-phobia. Theresa, her BFF, hatches a cunning plan to get her friend able to do her dream job with the help of her older brother Corwin, Navy SEAL and all alpha gorgeous male who just happens to have been secretly crushing on Belle for years! Now it just so happens that Belle has also been crushing on Corwin for years too! If it's rom-coms that you love to read [and watch on tv] then this book is for you. Christa writes with passion and has a great slant on the comedic side. This book drew me in and kept me refusing to put the book down until I'd finished it.Yes, there is some angst and a a terrific HEA. Plenty of chemistry sizzling between Belle and Corbin and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series [and more stories by Christa]. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most Definitely Recommended! I loved this book so much that I bought my own copy.
