Hosed (Happy Cat Book 1) Kindle Edition
He’s bossy, arrogant, and so ridiculously hot he should come with a warning label and a pair of flame retardant coveralls.
He’s also the boy who broke my heart when we were in high school.
I want to move in next door to Ryan O’Dell the way I want to be the virgin gamer geek suddenly in charge of running my sister’s sex toy factory. Too bad both are written in my stars.
Yeah, I’m the world’s oldest virgin code-writing nerd.
And he’s the world’s hottest firefighter.
And even though he intimidates the heck out of me, I can’t seem to control my libido when he’s around.
Where is my dignity? My self-respect? My panties?
Seriously…. Have you seen them? Anyone?
Maybe they’re hiding in his bedroom. With my heart.
Yeah, I know. I’m hosed.
So hosed.
Hosed is a steamy, fun romantic comedy between a firefighter and the virgin nerd next door, complete with a pet raccoon, scandalous gossip, and dildo football. (No, really.) This romance has no cheating or cliffhangers, and ends with a banging hot happily ever after.

About the authors
Pippa Grant wanted to write books, so she did.
Before she became a USA Today and #1 Amazon bestselling romantic comedy author, she was a young military spouse who got into writing as self-therapy. That happened around the time she discovered reading romance novels, and the two eventually merged into a career. Today, she has more than 30 knee-slapping Pippa Grant titles and nine published under the name Jamie Farrell.
When she’s not writing romantic comedies, she’s fumbling through being a mom, wife, and mountain woman, and sometimes tries to find hobbies. Her crowning achievement? Having impeccable timing for telling stories that will make people snort beverages out of their noses. Consider yourself warned.
Pippa Grant® is a registered trademark of Bang Laugh Love LLC.
Author of over forty novels, USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente writes everything from steamy suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedies. A die-hard romantic, she can’t resist a story where love wins big. Because love should always win. She lives in Vermont with her two big-hearted boy children and a dog named Pippa Jane.
Lili also writes naughty books as Everly Stone. Learn more at www.lilivalente.com.

Years later and Cassie moves home to run her sisters business while she is away.
Ryan has always liked Cassie and he tries hard to prove to her that he is the right man for her.
But then things go bad and he believes the worst of her. They when he finally comes to his senses she is too hurt and won't listen
A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.
And who wouldn't love a pet raccoon named George.
Absolutely hilarious!
Heading into the next in the series!

I will definitely read this again in the future and would like to buy more from this series to catch up with some of the other characters.

I love Ryan and Cassie's love story. It's all kinds of awkwardness with the geeky, virginal, sexually repressed girl next door and the sexy, smouldering firefighter. Although, the fact that said sexually repressed nerd girl is manning the helm of her sister's sex toy factory is probably the cause of most of the awkwardness!!! This is Cassie's sexual awakening with a side of the boy she loved in high school being the one to break through her barriers all while the gossipy little town of Happy Cat, Georgia is divided over the Sunshine Sex Toys factory and its standing in their town.
If you want to laugh, special mention is given to one EXCEPTIONAL scene-stealing raccoon with the perfect name - George Cooney! He's a hilarious trash panda who's jealous of the attention Cassie is getting from his human buddy Ryan. He totally steals the show and he will steal your heart too!!!
Make sure you one click this one, you will NOT regret it! If Hosed is the promise of what's to come from Pippa Grant and Lili Valente this year, then I would say 2019 is going to be a GREAT year for books!

I liked the hero and heroine well enough, but I think I was expecting something more—or at least different—after reading other books written exclusively by Ms. Grant.
There was nothing wrong with this book. It just didn’t draw me in and elevate my mood with barely contained humour the way that most of Ms. Grant’s books do.
It wasn’t the fault of the writing, but I was probably expecting something more since I paid for this book instead of reading it for “free” as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription. $5.99 feels like a lot to pay when I have read numerous books I liked more for “free.” 3.5/5.
