Wow. Like, seriously. I found myself laughing (especially that fire escape scene, let's be real - we've ALL had something similar), crying and shaking my kindle in serious frustration reading this one. I have to hand it to Heather and Daryn, this one is killer! The thing I absolutely adore about Fireball and Fiascos is exactly how relatable it is. This book - Denae's life, it's exactly what we all go through and it's so refreshing to see that.
Well done ladies! Now, give me more!

Fireball and Fiascos is a fun, light hearted read. It centers around friends Denae and Harper and the romantic escapades they get up too.
I liked these characters, especially Zane. He is the calm and stability in the wild storm created by Denae. The relationship between Harper and Denae has just as much page time as Harper and her love interest Zane. Their friendship is full of banter and wild expeditions.
This is a comedy, but I found some of the situations a little too farfetched. The comedy would have had more of an impact, in my opinion, if there were not as many over the top episodes. Denae often talks directly to the reader, generally I don't mind this writing style, but again, less is often more. The story, in between the OTT segments, is somewhat slow and a little predictable.
I would recommend Fireball and Fiascos to those looking for a little light hearted, naughty reading material. I would like to read book 2 in the series, to see how these characters survive!

From the first page, you are pulled into the world of Denae and Harper. It's been awhile since I laughed so much with a book but I did with this one. I really liked this book and while I don't like cliffhangers, it's not too bad so I'll happily wait for the next book!!!!Great job ladies... hurry up with the next book please! LOL

Wow this book was amazing.. once I started it I couldn’t put it down till I finished it.. Heather Rayne .. amazing job.. hot , steamy, and draws you in.. when your done you can’t help but wonder when is the next one coming out .. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who wants to read it

Fireball & Fiascos is such a fitting title for this book, as there is a lot of Fireball Whisky and a lot of fiascos. I'm just going to jump right in to what I absolutely loved about this book. The friendship that Denae and Harper share. From their first meeting these girls had the best friend connection and I loved seeing that the friendship angle wasn't in the background but was front and center! These ladies enjoy each other and have a beautifully amazing friendship. Even between the fighting they still loved each other immensely. You could feel their camaraderie and love for each other. Now this book isn't just about a great friendship, we also get Denae's love story and all the hilarity that entailed. Denae meets Zane at the new martini bar, he's the bartender and sparks fly between them. Their relationship is slow, but the build up is oh so delicious.
Denae will crack you up. She has a run of crazy bad luck after meeting Zane. All of her bad luck seems to happen in front of him. Luckily he likes her brand of crazy and rolls with the laughs. Zane is pretty spectacular. He puts up with so much with Denae and Harper. He's a real trooper when it comes to it. He understands and accepts Denae is pretty much a package deal with her flover Harper. Denae and Zane have a hilarious and crazy filled romance but it fits both of them.
This writing duo needs to get back to writing! I need the next book ASAP! Just know going into this book you will get some crazy laughter, some swoon worthy romance, and a beautiful friendship!

Denae and Harper meet at a totally bo-ring business function. Best friends at first sight. Cemented by the fact that the grabby handed cheating boss Denae was bitching about turns out to be the hubby of gorgeous blonde Harper. Any idiot too bind to appreciate someone as beautiful and spirited as Harper deserved to be humiliated - and she really was not joking when she said she would take him for all he was worth - a cold cash revenge, but the least of her due.
The girls live a bit of a party lifestyle together for a while, with Harper living off her divorce settlement, and Denae starting work at a magazine owned by a friend of the family to Harper.
But both suffered some self esteem loss at the hands of the cheating hubbies they had been with.
Hilarious romp with bumps, bruises, and a small kitchen fire - two gals finding their way in the big city - and the best love they have is for each other as friends, no matter what man or man trouble crops up.

I Flover this Romcom!
Fireball and Fiasco, Book One, written by author Heather Rayne, is one of the funniest books I've read all year. Ms Rayne certainly has a way with comical dialogue and one liners which just had me laughing. Her character's conversations and ribbing were smart and witty.
Evidence of the above come into play immediately when Danae and Harper meet at a convention and commiserate over cheating husbands and failed marriages. Danae's marriage lasted three weeks due to her husband cheating and then found herself working for a boss who was a chronic cheater on his wife. Come to find out Harper is his wife.
After a messy divorce and much bleeding dry, Danae and Harper become roommates and have each other's back. Harper gets involved with a man ho becomes the basis for book 2 and Danae gets involved with a bartender/private investigator. The shenanigans that ensues is hilarious. We have boozy cupcakes, being caught out on a fire escape naked, and tripping in your Choos at the feet of a gorgeous bartender named Zane.
I'm recommending this book for how well it was written. Loved the cliff hanger. How well the characters played nice together. Look for book 2: Harlots and Handcuffs.
I ended this book feeling completely pleased having read it.

I did admire Harper and Denae's strong committed relationship with each other. Each of them were had powerful personalities and did not bow down to anyone. I really wanted to enjoy reading this book however, It did not hold my interest and I found myself nodding to sleep. I forced myself to finish reading it. Although at times entertaining, I also found that there were very realistic emotions and feelings expressed. They had legitimate fears and worries. The telling of the story went at a very slow pace which contributed to my lethargy. This is a simple story of two women entering the next phase of life after divorce. It is written a story type journal. What they did, what they ate, where they went, the different men in their revolving door and their loyalty to each other come h#ll or high water. In the end Harper was betrayed by the man she fell in love with and Denae kept putting foot in mouth when it came to her relationship with Zane. This book was fun. Having a friend by your side through thick and thin, your ride or die person is the best. That's what they have. After starting their friendship in the craziest of ways that's just what it is. Both of these ladies have some growing up to do and both of their lives in the romance area go as far from each other as can be imagined. They're survivors and kinda scary even when they don't try. I laughed hard reading this enjoying this side of an author who has ripped my heart out in her other reads and an author I have never experienced before but they make an awesome duo. I can't wait for more from these two authors and on this group, well for lack of a better term. They may have to do something about those boundaries fast if Zane has anything to say about it although he is a great sport and a stand up guy. But things are getting interesting especially with his bomb at the end of the book. Yup cliff-hanger ahead and it's a goody you have been warned.

The beginning intro of this story hooked me right away. What a way to start a friendship between adventurous Denae and full-of-life Harper. After the intro, the next few chapters slowed down for me, but I still wanted to know what these two were going to get into and as I suspected these two gal pals got themselves into lots. Denae is a little spitfire and I liked that. She manages to get herself into many, (I'm so screwed) moments, but its all worth it when the right guy falls hard for her. Harper finds herself a man that is perfect for her until she finds out his dirty little secret or two. If you enjoy funny banter, laugh out loud moments, and a surprise ending then I recommend starting this series.

How about crazy, funny, very real feeling and oh so relatable!! I think everyone needs a Flover like these two, what it must be like to have that deep of a connection with somebody, I have to say I was almost jealous, LOL and that was before Zane!!!! He was the cherry on top of this book!!
I can't decide which parts of this story I love the most, the crazy nutty crap that happens to Denae, the way Harper is with everybody, the screw ups or the sexiness???
I think if one element had been missing this would have been a pale imitation of the awesomeness that this brings!!
I'm already ready for book two!!!

What a hoot! A fantastic start to a new series that's going to be a good one. What a pair of flovers in Denea and Harper as they take on love in NYC. BFFs that had an interesting start to their flover relationship that sets up a lot of hilarity and great friendship moments between the two. This story has Denea looking for love with no success until an accident has her falling (literally) and being rescued by sexy bartender, Zane. But there's more to Zane than just a hunky bartender. And he's just right for Denea. Their budding romance is sweet and sexy and full of laughs. Wonderful writing and amazing characters makes this a must read. I can't wait for Harper's story. She deserves to be happy in love. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

5 They Had Me At the Beginning Stars!!!
I started this book hoping for a few laughs and what I got far surpassed my expectations. Denae is my kind of woman add to it her new BFF, Harper, who just happens to be her scumbag of a boss’s wife and well, it’s magic.
There truly were so many fiascos that these two seemed to find themselves in, but that’s just the pure beauty of this book and their friendship! Nothing stopped these two from discovering who they’re meant to be and NYC is their backdrop.
Add into it Zane and Denae’s love interest and not only do we have a love story we have more fiascos! I have to hand to Zane though…he loves this girls cray-cray!! I had so much fun reading this book. It was the perfect levity from having just come of a gut-churning romantic suspense book!
I’m so looking forward to more from this writing duo!!!

FIREBALL AND FIASCOs by Heather Rayne had me snorting with laughter as well as blushing with embarrassment at the antics of “flovers” Denae and Harper. It takes little time for this oddball duo to forge a great friendship and I thoroughly enjoyed their New York City escapades.
When Denae meets Zane and Harper meets Khalil, these two men bring their own brand of trouble into play. Among the ups and downs of these new relationships, we get a delightful mixture of sweet times, steamy moments and even crazier exploits.
This is a great book for readers looking for a lighthearted and cheerful read.

I absolutely loved this book! Fireball and Fiascos is the first book in a new series by Heather Rayne, the collaborative duo of Heather Guimond & Daryn Rayne. This romantic comedy made me laugh out loud so many times. Its over the top moments add to the hilariousness of the story.
Harper and Denae first meet at a bar. As they talk, both realize they have more in common than they initially realized. Soon their friendship leads them to become roomies. These two flovers have a no holds barred relationship. When both women start dating new men they find themselves in one fiasco after another. This is a MUST read!!

A friendship with no boundaries; Laugh out loud fun; Romance and heartbreak make this a great story to read. Danae and Harper are best friends like none other. They have each other, s back and are wacky, fun and crazy: they both meet men who they believe are the ones. Turns out Harper’s man is less than. Danae hits the jackpot with Zane. He falls for her crazy. He has to adjust to the relationship she has with Harper plus her calamity filled life. It’s a fun ride with some drama. It does leave you with an interesting twist for a new story. Looking forward to that one too.

I absolutely floved this book! Within the first few pages it pulled me in and wouldn't let me go! Not like I wanted it to anyways. LOL I could totally relate to Denae, I'm huge klutz too! This story had me in stitches, made me look like a lunatic because I was laughing, so much and so hard! But, of course it has it's drama also. Just when you think it's about to end and have a happy ever after, you land on the cliff but one that's not too steep. But, I did message Heather and tell her I was mad at her because of it! LOL I can't wait for the next book to come out!

Fireballs and Fiascos is a hilarious story of two fiesty, smart mouthed best friends who share an apartment after both cheating husbands brought them together. True friendship through thick and thin, ups and downs. Crazier than Laverne and Shirley. Never a dull moment.
Poor lucious Zane. He's one hell of a trooper to put up with Spin and Harper.
Loved The Great Fire Escape Fiasco and the black dildo chasing.
I would definitely recommend Fireballs and Fiascos! There is a cliffy.

This book was funny, fun, crazy, sexy and totally cool. It kept your attention from the beginning to the end. I won't lie, there were a couple throw my phone moments, but of course, you ran to grab the phone immediately. You have a woman who has scumbag husband and another who might not trust in men again. Love happens, but it is a bumpy ride to realize what it really is. Totally a one sitting read! Heather Rayne has brought out the big guns with this book. I can not wait until Book 2 releases!!!!

This story had all the feels!!!!! I laughed until my stomach hurt more than once, teared up a time or two, felt embarrassed and angry on behalf of these lovely characters and so much more. If I had to choose just two words to describe this book, it would be hilarious and charming. It was an absolutely delightful read with an ending that left me begging for more. I just want to hang out with Harper and Denae all day every day. This one definitely goes on the reread list! Loved it!!!! <3

Denea is nursing a broken heart after her husband left her for his administrative assistant and her boss hitting on her so she is drinking instead of networking and then she meets Harper and they start talking about her boss and Harper's husband and then he walks up to them and they both say oh here he comes and so Denea quits and Harper divorces him and so they move in together and start over partying together and then things start to change that jeopardize their friendship. Awesome read.

Harper and Denae meet over an odd circumstance and become BFFs for life and "flovers", which is supposed to transcend all other relationships. However, when each find love and romance, their bond will be tested. And it happens over the funniest of circumstances and situations. Have no fear, fireball will always be involved during these fiascos somehow, which will lead to several laughs. I love Zane and the unexpected romance that develops is fabulous. This is a funny romantic read and the first of mine by this author. I received an ARC via booksprout for an honest review.

Hilarious!!! A definite must read!
OMG!!! I “floved” this book! I laughed so hard! There were serious moments to balance it out a little but for the most part it was hilarious! I love the chemistry between Harper and Denae. They are a very unique pair and they feed on each other’s strengths and emotions. Then comes Zane....sizzling hotness! I can’t say much without giving things away but I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I’ll definitely read this one again.
OMG!!! I “floved” this book! I laughed so hard! There were serious moments to balance it out a little but for the most part it was hilarious! I love the chemistry between Harper and Denae. They are a very unique pair and they feed on each other’s strengths and emotions. Then comes Zane....sizzling hotness! I can’t say much without giving things away but I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I’ll definitely read this one again.

This is my first Heather Rayne's read and it won't be the last. This book was hilarious and I laughed from beginning to end. The characters are enjoyable and the storyline flows well with the amazing friendship between Denae and Harper at first meeting each other. Zane and Denae's chemistry is hot, hot, hot. This is a steamy, exciting and emotional read that I recommend.

Harper and Denae meet at a bar. Dense tells Harper about her grabby Boss! Well it turns out that her boss is Harper’s cheating husband! After quitting her job and Harper divorcing her husband they become roommates and flovers!! When they both start dating new men they find themselves in one fiasco after another. This book will definitely have you laughing out loud!
