The Connecticut Foodshare annual Walk Against Hunger will take place on Saturday, May 20 in-person at Dunkin' Park. Can't participate in the walk? No problem, walkers can create their own routes anytime and anywhere.
The Walk is a fun-filled event with live entertainment and giveaways. Join us as we continue to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity in Connecticut. The Walk not only benefits the work of Connecticut Foodshare, it also benefits the amazing partner programs throughout the state. These partners help Connecticut Foodshare serve the estimated 1 in 8 residents and 1 in 7 children who struggle with hunger.
Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) Food Pantry strives to make a dent in the problem of food insecurity on our college campus. Food insecurity is a terrible barrier to academic success for many of our ACC students. Community partners like Connecticut Foodshare help us tremendously. 100% of the donations go towards purchasing groceries for our Pantry on campus.
