The District is looking for parents, students, staff and community members to help guide and shape the work of the new Strategic Plan.  Below are descriptions of the three focus areas/task forces:
Focus Area 1 Task Force: This task force will support the following Strategic Plan focus area:  Academic & Personal Success for Every Student.  Summit School District is committed to a broad definition of student success outlined in the Summit School District Graduate Profile and a diverse set of pathways to learning and graduation. *Kick-off meeting in January 2022*

Focus Area 2 Task Force: This task force will support the following Strategic Plan focus area: Equity Seeking System. Summit School District builds equitable learning experiences and environments that honor and build upon each and every student’s cultural and personal identity.  *Kick-off meeting in December 2021*

Focus Area 3 Task Force: This task force will support the following Strategic Plan focus area: Family & Community Partnership. Summit School District partners with their community and families to enhance learning and support student success.  *Kick-off in February 2022*

The district is looking for diverse stakeholders to participate in the Strategic Plan Task Forces.  
Membership will be solicited through:
1. Superintendent nomination
2. Application
3. Recruitment

Our goal is to have at least four task force meetings for the three focus areas throughout second semester 2022.  
*Applications are due November 23rd, 2021*
