13 (A)“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy[a] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and (B)the way is hard that leads to life, and (C)those who find it are few.

A Tree and Its Fruit

15 (D)“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are (E)ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them (F)by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, (G)every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 (H)Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them (I)by their fruits.

Bear One Another's Burdens

Brothers,[a] (A)if anyone is caught in any transgression, (B)you who are spiritual should restore him in (C)a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. (D)Bear one another's burdens, and (E)so fulfill (F)the law of Christ. For (G)if anyone thinks he is something, (H)when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one (I)test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For (J)each will have to bear his own load.

(K)Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. (L)Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for (M)whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For (N)the one who sows to his own flesh (O)will from the flesh reap corruption, but (P)the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
