Best friend's sibling done right.....
I adore this real man series. This had two of my favorites tropes - best friend's sibling and older man/younger woman- and it was safe!
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no pushing away
-neither were virgins but neither had been with others after meeting each other.
-good epilogue 1 and 2 years later

Another quick but good read in A REAL MAN series! Tex and sassy Calissa were a rather memorable couple!

Really, really, ridiculously, unbearably repetitive and drawn out.
Well, I took a lot of creative license with the plot, but that's basically the gist.
"I love you, Calissa. I've loved you since the day I saw you. Or the day I met you. I'm not sure which one and I can't even tell you how old you were because hell if I remember and the timeline in our story is hella vague, but I've loved you that long."
"Yes, Tex, yes. I love you. You love me. We're a happy fam-i-ly oh wait I didn't mean to go on a Barney tangent there, Tex. Anyway, yes. Love. We lovveeeeee each other."
"No, Calissa. You don't understand. I like really totally love you. I have for years and what's that spot on the floor? Is that blood or spaghetti sauce? You're not bleeding, are you, Calissa?" *Grabs Calissa by the shoulders and shakes violently* "TELL ME!"
*Calissa's head is bouncing around like a lazy eye but that doesn't matter because she's so wet down there because oh boy does Tex smell good and he's so poetic with his words she can't help but drip lady juice for him* "No, not blood. I made lasagna for dinner because I love you so much and know how much you like Italian. All I want to do is make you happy, Tex."
*Tex again shakes Calissa violently because why the hell not* "I actually prefer Mexican but we can deal with that later. But yeah, all I want is your happiness, Calissa. And a baby. Like, yesterday. I wanted my baby inside you yesterday but that didn't happen so we're gonna get started on it in like *looks at watch* 3 hours because that's how long it's going to take to convince you of my love."
"Oh God, Tex, no. I need you now."
"Nah, I like to stick to my schedules. So 2 hours and 58 minutes and counting, baby..."
Well, I took a lot of creative license with the plot, but that's basically the gist.

Same dialogue as the books before it, just different names for the characters. These books are good for a quick read but there's really no depth to the characters, no substance. The H talks too much. Takes him a chapter and a half of telling the h what he's gonna do to her and having her repeat, repeatedly how much she wants and loves him. How she belongs to him. The chick could have sat down and read a book herself, and just let Tex work everything out himself.

Tex doesn't like others ogling what's his, "...her shorts molded to her ***. They were too short, effing Daisy Dukes. I didn’t like that. The possessive side of me wanted to drape a blanket over her..." I liked this story, it was a very quick read and Tex never strayed from his opernation of getting Calissa to be his.

He's kept his distance while keeping a watchful eye over Calissa. But watching men come on to what is his, is testing his restraint. The time has come to lay it all out and make Calissa his!!

This is another sizzling hot and steamy read from the Real Man standalone series. What is great about this series is the hero is a possessive and dominant alpha male, the heroine is a cross between sweet and sassy and the story always ends up with an HEA because the story is filled with steamy action and intense chemistry. This story “Baby maker” is a great addition to the series because it definitely gives this and more. This is a friends to lovers read, mixed with a bit of taboo to the story. Tex has wanted Calissa pretty much since he has known her. Calissa is his sister’s best friend and is 12 years younger than him. He's kept his distance while keeping a watchful eye over Calissa. But time is coming to a close on him keeping his distance and he has had enough of sitting around waiting for the right time to claim his woman. It takes Calissa getting hit on by a drunk man at her work for Tex to decide to let Calissa know she is his…Will Calissa accept Tex’s statement ? Will Calissa let Tex known of her love for him? This is one sassy, sexy, steamy read and I look forward to more of the Real Man series stories.

I liked this short story. I enjoyed seeing Tex try and resist Calissa. He had wanted her for years but held off due to her age and the fact she was his sister’s friend. I loved how possessive he got when any male came near Calissa. She was his and he was ready to claim her. I loved how obsessed he was in getting her pregnant.
The chemistry between Calissa and Tex is clear to see. They truly suit one another. The love they have for one another is clear to see.
Some of the scenes in this book are kindle melting hot, the passion is through the roof. Overall, I enjoyed this story. The writing style is easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.

I'm allllll caught up on the real men series!! The last book lol yashhh it was pretty short and sweet with some steam.

This is another story from the Real Man standalone series. I enjoy reading this series as they are a quick read and always have a HEA. The story is steamy and so dirty.

I love this series!!! I have read and own all of The Real Man series and look forward to the next one every time.

I love this series by Jenkia Snow. This is a great little story about friends to lovers. Tex has wanted Calissa for awhile now but kept thinking she was too young for him. When he sees all the guys that are hitting on her and wanting her, he decides he has had enough of sitting on the sidelines. She will be his in every way that matters. Quick, hot steamy and a very sexy story. Keep some ice water and a fan near by in case you overheat while reading this!
