May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Check out virtual events from Bellevue College's Asian Pacific Islander Student Association, as well as virtual events on the main campus events schedule to commemorate this month.
This library guide highlights resources related to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, including library books, databases, and videos; campus events for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month; and community resources. Use this page to find resources related to the AAPI community as a whole, and the tabs on the left to find resources related to different groups within that community.

As a Bellevue College student you have access to online resources through King County Library System (KCLS). This access is free to all currently enrolled students. If you would like to be able to check out physical library materials, you can sign up for a library card online or visit a KCLS branch.
KCLS is a great place to look for fiction. It's also a great place to find children's books, including electronic books, to read with family members.
The below reading list of Asian American literature, created by Dr. Nan Ma in the BC English department, contains many books available to read through KCLS.
