• The subject codes of NONT, OREN, and TECH are used specifically for nontransferable course work.

• The subject code ELEC means that no direct equivalent exists for the course at Augusta University. If the student’s selected degree plan has space for free electives then the course may be considered to meet free elective credit requirements toward the degree.

• Transfer courses with equivalents of HUMN 1AAA or HUMN 2AAA will meet credit requirements for Augusta University’s Area C in the Core Curriculum.

• Transfer courses with equivalents of a specific department abbreviation (ENGL, MATH, etc.) and followed by 1AAA, 2AAA, 3AAA, or 4AAA are department specific electives. If the student’s selected degree plan has space for department-specific electives (lower division: 1AAA or 2AAA; upper division: 3AAA or 4AAA) then the course may be considered to meet elective credit requirements toward the degree.

• Courses provided within the listing may not reflect all transferable course work and are subject to change.

• Students must submit official transcripts of completed coursework to the Augusta University Office of Admissions for review before an official determination can be made.
