In Ecuador, as one of the 17 megadiverse countries of the world, Amazon Alliance represents over 4.000 Naporuna Kichwa families guarding more than 60.000 hectares of upper Amazon primary forest.
Our mission is to protect existing forests and to profitably regenerate abandoned pasture into traditional agroforestry systems that are owned and controlled by indigenous smallholder farmers.

Yhú Life is actively engaged in fair trade initiatives that benefit small indigenous farming communities throughout Ecuador.
Our long-term goal is to sustain organic ‘agroforestry’ farming methods and to increase awareness of the value of ancient-heritages.
Our initiatives allow small producers to work together as associations promoting greater opportunities, close to their homes, while earning higher wages.
We are committed to cultivate, develop, and produce an end-use for many of the nutrient rich ‘superfoods’ they produce and are native to these regions.
We empower indigenous community enterprises to produce, manage, and distribute consumer-ready products for international markets.
