After two years of Zoom parties, we are so excited to be able to celebrate Albers 2022 Grads in person! Please join us on Saturday, June 11th, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in The Quad at Seattle University.
When: Saturday, June 11th, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Awards Ceremony will take place at 5:00 pm.
Where: The Quad at Seattle University (the event will be outside, under the tents in the space between Bannon and Pigott, the area with the fountain).
What: Enjoy light refreshments while mingling with friends, family, and your favorite Albers professors.
Who: Bring your parents, your significant other, your child, or your best friend. This is your special day; we want you to celebrate with the most important people in your life. Just make sure you RSVP for them.
What Else
- Are masks required? This event will follow SU guidelines and could change if Covid cases continue to rise. Currently, masks are not required but are strongly encouraged.
- What should I wear? This is not an event for your cap and gown. Many people will be walking over directly after the commencement mass or headed out to dinner afterward. So, wear whatever works best for you, and leave your cap and gown at home.
- What if it rains? We will have several large tents in the Quad that can provide coverage for rain or sun. If we have a severe weather event, we will move the celebration into the Pigott Atrium and Auditorium.
- Where should I park? The Broadway Parking Garage may be closest to the event. But on-street parking is also an option. The College of Science and Engineering will be holding an event at the same time, and Capitol Hill parking can be a challenge, so consider walking, taking the bus, light rail, or carpooling. Grab a map of parking facilities on the SU website.
- Are there accessible parking spots nearby? Accessible spaces are found in the Pigott Visitor Lot located adjacent to the university entrance. Additional space is available in the 11th & East Cherry Garage. Authorization to park in university accessible spaces requires vehicles to have both a valid state-issued placard or license plate and a valid university parking permit. To arrange a permit prior to the event, reach out to SU Transportation and Parking Services at 206.296.5990 or parkingservices@seattleu.edu.
- What if I forgot to RSVP? We strongly encourage you to RSVP for yourself and your guests. We want to make sure we have enough space, food and drinks for all of our guests. If you forgot to RSVP but still want to come, by all means, join us!
