This set of flyers, posters, Grown in Washington calendar and logo are geared towards the secondary student audience. Posters include agriculture or food facts and the set includes materials for 10 different Washington grown products, including stone fruits, carrots, squash, beans & lentils, apples, dairy, grains, radishes, asparagus, and strawberries.

To use this Harvest of the Month template set:

WSU Extension Pierce County SNAP-Ed Harvest of the Month Banners

This set was developed by WSU Pierce County Extension and Pierce County. It features their Harvest of the Month crops, specifically at Franklin Pierce School District from their school district farm.

To use this Harvest of the Month template set:

1. Download the blank Banner Template and print yourself or send to a printer for a large format or vinyl banner version
2. Download the 14 Crop Set and print your Harvest of the Month item
3. Paste the item and "Grown at..." info onto the large Banner Template.

To customize this banner with your own district or partner logos, please contact Sheryl Rhinehart at srhineh@co.pierce.wa.us. Be prepared to send high-resolution images of the logos you would like to use.

Whatcom County Harvest of the Month
 

The Whatcom Farm to School Team has created a collection of Harvest of the Month posters, education, and outreach materials based on Northwest Washington's specific growing seasons. They also recently adapted Harvest of the Month educational materials with Washington-specific facts, including posters, teacher talking points, powerpoint presentations, trivia questions, teacher lesson guides and factsheets for each crop below.  All of their materials, including the Harvest of the Month calendar at right and materials for the crops below, are available for download a the Whatcom Farm to School website.   

Products in the set include:

Alliums, Apples, Blueberries, Broccoli & Cauliflower, Cabbage, Carrots, Cucumbers, Dairy, Dried Beans, Grains, Kale, Potatoes, Radishes, Raspberries, Root, Vegetables, Salad Greens, Snap Peas, Spinach, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Winter Squash

The set is available for FREE - you can download a part or all of the files from the link below. It includes three logos (primary, icon and horizontal), each comes with four file types (JPEG, PNG, AI and ESP) and both color and black-and-white, a flyer (11x17 and 16x20), and the user guide [PDF].
