    On the Spot Admissions Appointments

At Central Washington University, prospective students can submit their application and have it reviewed "On the Spot" with one of our CWU Admissions Counselors.

On the Spot Admissions Appointments are recommended for First Year and Running Start students with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higherIf you have any questions about your admission to CWU, we recommend scheduling an admissions appointment to speak with an admissions counselor.

What to expect during an On the Spot Admissions Appointment:

    • Meet an admissions counselor virtually
    • Start, finalize, and submit your online admissions application
    • Receive an immediate evaluation of your high school transcripts
    • If eligible, receive an offer of admission

Your high school transcripts and your current senior year class schedule are an important part of the review process. Admissions counselors will review your overall GPA, the types of classes you have taken, the classes you plan to complete this year, and look at the rigor of your coursework.

Please note that students below a 3.0 may be asked to prepare a personal statement.
