Workshop: Innovate4OutcomesTM
Bringing the healthcare industry together to “hack” systemic challenges in patient access and support
Virtual workshop
December 9 2021, 1:00-4:30pm ET
Achieving higher standards of care and equal access to treatment remains a huge problem for patients in the US. Patient advocacy groups, like RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association are critical resources, but still face several barriers when it comes to providing the right support at the right time. Pharma executives, healthcare providers and advocacy leaders can work together to find tangible and actionable solutions, driving true patient-centricity across US healthcare.
OptimizeRx and Reuters Events are hosting a design-thinking event to get the dialogue going. We are bringing together pharma, HCP representatives, and patient advocacy groups to collectively “hack” the top access and support-related challenges faced by advocacy groups today to create better outcomes for their patient populations.
This 3.5-hour workshop, inspired by technology ‘hackathons,’ brings together 6 groups of 10-15 pharma, healthcare professionals, and patients to surface innovative solutions to pervasive systemic challenges using the perspectives of patient advocacy groups to focus their discussion. Teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of judges (including leaders of the patient advocacy groups). The winning team will be publicly announced, and their idea may be implemented by the patient advocacy groups.
