ON LAWN LEARNING. <SUE MOWRER ADAMS -- KIDS WILL TELL ME THEYRE COMING BY TO LOOK AT IT -- SO I CAN COME SAY HI. SO IT'S BEEN VERY COMMUNAL> ART TEACHER SUE MOWRER ADAMS SPROUTED IT AS A WAY TO KEEP KIDS THINKING CREATIVELY WHEN THEY'RE OFTEN STUCK AT HOME. THAT'S WHY THE GALLERY INCLUCES LESSONS LIKE A ROLL-A-PICASSO ACTIVITY. IT GETS YOUNG ARTISTS USING DIFFERENT ABSTRACT SHAPES. <KID NATS -- I'VE BIKED BY BEFORE AND IT'S JUST FUN TO LOOK AT - - YOU HAVE LIKE UNLIMITED TIME TO DO IT> PICKING THE FIRST FEATURED ARTISTS WAS EASY -- PICASSO AND KEITH HARING -- <ADAMS -- IM BIASED -- THOSE ARE MY FAVORITES SO THERE'LL BE OTHERS AS THE WEEKS AND MONTHS ROLL ON > BUT MOST OF ALL - - SHE JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THIS ALL BLOWS OVER - - ALLOWING HER TO GET BACK TO THE ARTISTS SHE MISSES EVERY DAY. <ADAMS -- KIDS WILL COME BY FOR HUGS OR FOR LUNCH -- OR ALL SORTS OF THINGS ...
