2018 - Lenz saw action in 34 games with 31 starts for the Lions ... Lenz had 15 runs scored, 15 hits, eight RBIs and three doubles on the year ... defensively, Lenz finished with a .993 fielding percentage at catcher and threw out 19 of a would-be 22 stolen base attempts. 

Prior to Southern - Lenz comes to Southern after two seasons at Elgin CC where he helped his team to a regional championship as a sophomore ... Lenz was an All-Conference and All-Area selection, while also earning Academic All-Conference honors ... his brother, Jon, was originally a signee for the Lions' baseball team but is now a member of the Southern golf team. 

High School - Lenz prepped at Larkin High School where he was a three-time letter winner in baseball and a four-time letter winner in golf. 

Personal - Lenz is the son of Melissa and Phil Lenz ... a criminal justice major at Southern.
