Mi María: Puerto Rico after the Hurricane is a mass-listening project that collects and circulates stories of Puerto Ricans who have survived Hurricane María and are trying to survive its aftermaths amidst innumerable humanitarian concerns and social justice issues. In collaboration with The Humanities Action Lab, over 150 undergraduate students from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez are working together to gather oral histories and curate a traveling exhibition based upon these life stories. We are also working with Voice of Witness to publish an edited collection of oral histories in their book series. Follow along to hear our stories of struggle and hope.

Mi María: Puerto Rico después del huracán es un proyecto de escucha masiva que recopila y hace circular historias de puertorriqueños que han sobrevivido al huracán María y están tratando de sobrevivir a sus consecuencias en medio de innumerables preocupaciones humanitarias y problemas de justicia social. En colaboración con The Humanities Action Lab, más de 150 estudiantes universitarios de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Mayagüez trabajan juntos para recopilar historias orales y organizar una exposición itinerante basada en estas historias de vida.
