Dwayne- ~7 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog Mix

Dwayne “The Dog” Johnson is just that- the MAN! This big beefy hunk of a dog is 7 years young, 69 pounds, and is the single most beautiful dilute tri color coat we have EVER seen! He will turn heads wherever he goes- and he can’t wait to go home to you! He is a playful, active boy who has been through the ringer of a “ruff” life and is now looking for a bully experienced home to take him in and love him furever! Dwayne is a typical bully boy- loves hard and plays hard. He loves his people with his whole body and sometimes forgets his own strength so he will not be a good fit for young kids or pets that do not match his play style. He is a BIG strong dog that needs an attentive owner willing to keep up with his training. Once Dwayne knows you he loves to get belly rubs, butt scratches, and give kisses!

Our Mission

Last Chance Ranch® (LCR) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization rescuing and rehabilitating equines, farm and domestic companion animals. LCR is dedicated to promoting and educating the public to humane and responsible treatment of equines, farm animals and other domestic companion animals including dogs and cats. LCR provides a safe and secure refuge for abused, unwanted or neglected animals. LCR rehabilitates the physical ailments of these rescued animals and places them into homes where they receive the love, attention and care they deserve. Our follow-up programs, educational seminars and clinics ensure their continued well-being.

Facility

Last Chance Ranch is located on 35 beautiful acres in Upper Bucks County. Our facility includes a nine stall barn, indoor riding arena, many pastures with run-in sheds, a fifteen run kennel, small animal room, grooming suite, and several meeting rooms that can be used for educational programs and events. The Community Center at Last Chance Ranch offers three different rooms that can accommodate events for up to 100 people. Perfect for Business Meetings, Parties, Celebrations, Professional/Clinical Presentations and much more!

How We Began

Last Chance Ranch was founded in 1999 as a 501c3 non-profit equine rescue, focusing on slaughter-bound equines. In 2005, after assisting with the recovery efforts of Hurricane Katrina, LCR reorganized as a companion and farm animal rescue. A few years later in 2007, LCR expanded to 25 additional acres which allowed for additional barnyard animal enclosures and plans for a future kennel. The kennel facility was completed in 2010. Currently, LCR’s 35-acre facility has the ability to house more than 150 animals of all types.

Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue is not affiliated with any other organizations.
