A Leg To Stand On’s Rocktoberfest Fundraiser Concert Lineups Released

10+ bands to rock in Chicago on October 13th; 15+ bands to rock in New York on October 20th.

NEW YORK CITY - Thursday, September 7, 2022 - As the days get shorter and the weather cools, most are settling into their fall routines. But for members of the financial services and related industries in Chicago and New York, the early days of September signal A Leg To Stand On’s upcoming Rocktoberfest events. This year, after two years of virtual events, the excitement is palpable.

ALTSO’s annual Rocktoberfest concerts in Chicago and New York feature bands composed of individuals who are leaders in the financial services sector by day, rock stars by night, and to ALTSO’s CoolKids, world changers 24/7. From early summer through the night of the event, each band competes for most funds raised to bring life-changing prosthetic limbs, orthotic braces, and appropriately fitted wheelchairs to children living with limb disabilities in the developing world – while vying for the best time slot of the night.

In Chicago, ten bands will grace two stages at City Winery on October 13th. Main stage acts include ALTSO All Stars Chicago, Bad Dads, Blue Sky Highway, The OddsMakers, The Operators, and The Wrong Boys. Acoustic performances include Big Delta, Jeremy Heer, Monet Rue, New No Direction, and The Operators. You can meet the bands and read more about why they are rocking for ALTSO, here.

“We have missed performing and can’t wait to return to the stage to rock once again for ALTSO’s CoolKids." said Kurt Johnson, Vice President at ADM Investor Services and member of The Operators. "ADM Investor Services has been a proud sponsor of Rocktoberfest since 2016 and is honored to contribute to meaningful social and economic progress throughout the developing world through the life-changing work ALTSO does.”
