Part experiential lab and part community workspace, House of Shine is a whole museum dedicated to the Science of Self. When you visit us, you’ll become a Shineologist and begin exploring what makes you Shine. What will you discover?

Shine Museum

When you enter the Shine Museum, you become a Shineologist—someone who studies the subject of Shine. You’ll be greeted by a volunteer in a yellow lab coat, and invited to experience each interactive exhibit. Before leaving, you’ll discover at least one idea for brightening your corner of the world.

Bradley Roundtable

Our one-of-a kind table with a spinning top facilitates vibrant community conversations about timely topics. Attend one of our scheduled conversations or challenge your group’s thinking by reserving the table for a development experience they’re sure to remember. While you’re here, cast your vote on the Question of the Week.

Shine Lab

Learn something new in our Shine Lab, where certified instructors teach our proven Shine Method to people of all ages, including parents and teachers. Based on our Be, Do, Share philosophy, Shine Lab self-discovery workshops unearth your Shine, refine talents, or tackle obstacles to living your most fulfilled life.

Community Commons

Grab a book, journal, friend or colleague and join us in the Commons. Informal and intimate, this bright and cheery space provides a place to meet—or meet someone new. We’ve got coffee brewing and a cozy chair calling your name, so we hope you’ll pop in for a visit.

Looking for things to do with kids in DFW? What could be more fun than stepping into a magic yellow school bus to enjoy a Shine experience? We designed this fun-filled space for 30+ kids to enjoy story hours, Shineworks art classes, field trips, and more events for kids.

Volunteer Space

At the cross section of Creativity and Community is a place where volunteers gather to conceptualize, create, and assemble the magic we spread in our corner of the world. Volunteers can “leaf” their mark on our Voluntree – a mural made from the thumbprints of everyone who generously donated their time.

Podcast Room

In this space, Claudia Beeny, House of Shine’s Founder and Executive Director, will launch and host What’s Your Shine, a House of Shine podcast featuring happy people doing interesting things, and the sometimes-circuitous journeys they took to get there.

GalleRay

Ray Wattson, House of Shine’s mascot, brightens the world by sharing his creative ideas. He pursues experiences in downtown Grapevine and beyond, hoping each will shed light on his path. This hallway features a Gallery of Ray’s adventures and AccessoRay, an oversized Ray you can decorate with magnetic accessories.

How to Get Here

If you’re using public transit, take TEXRail to the Grapevine Main station and walk to the corner of Barton Street and Worth Street. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see the yellow doors! If you’re driving, find a parking place anywhere within the city and walk. Historic downtown Grapevine is easy to navigate on foot.
