Family Engagement Survey

January 17, 2023 – February 14, 2023

The Bellevue School District will conduct a survey to understand whether families across the district feel Informed, Supported and Empowered to contribute to their student’s success. It is a district priority to create long-lasting partnerships between families and schools for better student outcomes.

About the survey:

Families will receive an email and a unique survey link for each school where they have a student enrolled, which means they may receive multiple survey links. They will be asked to answer the survey based on the experience of their oldest student in the school. The survey is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Arabic, and Chinese. For more information, please visit our frequently asked questions page.

To ensure your participation there are only ten (10) brief questions on the survey.

Panorama Education will manage the survey, making sure your data is private and secure. Schools will not see individual responses.

Why are we doing a family survey?

The purpose of the survey is to gather feedback from families about whether their school informs, supports and empowers them to support their student.

Results will guide how each school implements practices that are representative of their school community. This effort is part of the Family and Community priority of the 2018-2023 BSD Strategic Plan. We strive to create family and school partnerships that support our core mission of serving all students. Please refer to the Family Engagement Community Report for the results from the 2019-2020 baseline Family Engagement Survey.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
